The Financial Advocate

In each short episode, Colin breaks down one planning strategy we've used in helping clients work toward their goals: investments, insurance, tax planning, estate planning, retirement income, Social Security, special needs planning, and long-term care. If you have 10 minutes every couple of weeks, it's worth a listen.

Bi-weekly, about 10 minutes an episode. Running 10+ years and counting.

In addition, if you are required to take a required minimum distribution (RMD) in the year you convert, you must do so before converting to a Roth IRA.

Ten minutes, one idea, no market predictions

Colin's rule for the show is the same as the practice: if it sounds like a hot take, it doesn't air. Recent episodes covered the 2026 ABLE expansion, Roth conversion sizing, and how to actually spend money in retirement.
